The Range opens new Glasgow store replacing Auldhouse Homebase in Pollokshaws

Glasgow's shoppers got some welcome news recently, after it was revealed that leading home, garden and leisure retailer, The Range would be saving the Homebase at Auldhouse.

This weekend (from Friday, January 17) the brand-new Range superstore has opened following a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren at the store, which features everything from stylish furnishings to homeware.

The first customer through the doors received a prize worth £150 and the following 50 shoppers in the queue walked away with a goodie bag packed with over 20 handpicked products from The Range’s most popular lines.

For gardening enthusiasts, the brand say the introduction of the ‘Garden Centre by Homebase’ is a highlight, offering a variety of outdoor plants, tools and supplies to cater to every gardening need.

The Pollokshaws store is part of the wider expansion effort, with new sites also launching today in Christchurch, Bournemouth and Kings Health, Birmingham, with more planned throughout 2025.

The newly opened Pollokshaws store also provides a free Click & Collect service, allowing customers to shop either online at www.homebase.co.uk or therange.co.uk and grab their purchases in-store within 60 minutes.
