RANGERS have provided a ticket update ahead of their Europa League double header against Borussia Dortmund.

The Ibrox side are set to face the Bundesliga side in the Play-off round of the competition with an away leg on February 17 and the return leg in Glasgow the following week.

But, fan restrictions in Germany currently vastly reduce capacity at football matches with just 750 fans inside Dortmund's 80,000-seater Westfalenstadion.

An Ibrox statement today read: " Rangers remain in regular dialogue with Borussia Dortmund, UEFA and the authorities in North-Rhein Westphalia.

"As it stands, a maximum of only 750 supporters are permitted to attend football matches in the state.

"The situation may evolve between now and matchday with other states moving at different speeds, and we will endeavour to keep our supporters up-to-date on any developments.

"It goes without saying we fully understand and empathise with the frustration our supporters are finding in this matter given the significance and standing of the fixture."
