Rangers transfer news bulletin as Abdallah Sima timeline emerges while Yusuf Kabadayi fired loaded Ibrox warning

Rangers will reportedly be made to wait if they are going to sign Abdallah Sima on a permanent deal this summer.

The 22-year-old has another 12 months on his contract at the Amex Stadium and will return to the English Premier League side this summer when he returns from international duty with Senegal. The winger suffered an injury-hampered second half of the campaign - but Sima still managed to enjoy a productive year-long Rangers loan which brought 16 goals and a Viaplay Cup winner’s medal.

Philippe Clement is rebuilding his squad this summer but would likely be open to bringing Sima back to the Scottish Premiership this season. Brighton could look to recoup some of the £8million they spent when signing the wide man from Salvia Prague back in 2021 before he is free to negotiate with potential suitors in January and move for nothing at the end of the campaign.

But with Roberto De Zebri yet to be replaced by Brighton, The Rangers Review report that a decision on Sima's future will not be imminent. It is claimed that the Seagulls' will make a call after they appoint a manager.

Elsewhere, Thomas Galdames has admitted he is dreaming of a move to Europe amid interest from Rangers. The Godoy Cruz defender is out of contract in the summer and stated his preference was to leave imminently - and give the Argentine side a payday.

While on international duty with Chile, the 25-year-old told Bodegue: “Nothing is known yet, I have a contract until December. I always dreamed of playing in Europe. I want to take this market calmly and be able to leave something for the club. I am very grateful to Godoy Cruz.

“Knowing that I have six months left, anyone hopes to go free, but I don't want that. If I go to this market, the idea is to return one day. I loved the club, the people, the city, they made me feel like one of you. My idea is to give back what the club did with me.”

Rangers are reportedly chasing a deal for Bayern Munich prospect Yusuf Kabadayi this summer with a host of clubs chasing a deal. But Andy Walker has warned the 20-year-old over the challenge at Ibrox - insisting that the rising star would have to produce 'immediately' if he opts to join the Light Blues.

Walker told the Go Radio Football Show: "Ages like that are always attractive; potential. But you need to produce immediately when you go to Celtic or Rangers - especially now at Rangers where they are on the back foot. Celtic have won the double, and have the benefit of Champions League money. Rangers need to get more value for money and be better at buying and selling."
