Ranking Hull FC's average attendances at MKM Stadium as 2024 one of lowest yet
Hull FC's average attendance saw a 9.1% drop in 2024, with 1,083 fewer fans turning out at the MKM Stadium. And given the club's season, their worst in the summer era to date and one of the worst in the club's entire history, that's not exactly a surprise.
However, the club still posted another five-figure total of 11,281, which isn't their worst in their 22 years at the Anlaby Road venue. It also continues the club's streak of having an average of at least 10,000 since moving to the site, a significant increase from the Boulevard days.
Despite winning just three games all year, the 2024 figure tops those from 2005, 2006, and 2014. It is, however, the 5th lowest average at the stadium, obviously taking the Covid-interrupted seasons of 2020 and 2021 out of the equation. It is, as mentioned, 1,083 fewer than the 2023 average of 12,364, showing the ground need to be made up next season.

Meanwhile, Hull's best average in the MKM Stadium era was the 14,606 posted in 2007, although that was boosted by two 23k crowds for the Hull derby fixtures. Their next best figure was 13,731 posted in 2010.
Here are Hull's averages at the MKM Stadium to date, with their highest and lowest crowds of each season attached.
