Ratings Soared for Chiefs Game as Taylor Swift Cheered on Travis Kelce
24.3 million people watched Taylor watch Travis during Sunday's game, making it the highest-rated NFL broadcast of the week
Taylor Swift wasn’t the only one watching the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
According to FOX Sports, the game was the week’s highest-rated telecast on any network, with 24.3 million viewers.
Despite the 41-10 trouncing over the Chicago Bears, the game especially captivated female viewers, ages 12 to 49, the network said.
As word on social media spread just before kickoff that Swift, 33, was in attendance, the Chiefs Kingdom and Swifties likely converged to view the epic moment when the music superstar pulled up to Arrowhead Stadium at the invitation of Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Broadcasters frequently referenced the “Enchanted” singer throughout the game, as cameras caught her sitting shoulder to shoulder with Travis' mom, Donna Kelce, and with the 33-year-old tight end’s friends in his luxury suite.

The NFL and corporate America have also capitalized on The Taylor Swift Effect, with the league changing its bio on X (formerly Twitter) to read “Taylor’s Version” after the game.
Even Hidden Valley Ranch dipped its toes into the fray after a popular X account called @tswifterastour re-shared a photo of Swift and a plate with a chicken finger in the suite, with the caption, “Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!”
The company has since changed its name on X to “Seemingly Ranch.”
