Razzie Awards: Holmes & Watson dominates after being branded 'worst f***ing movie of all time'

Holmes & Watson swept the board at the 39th annual Razzie Awards, winning the prizes for worst picture, worst director, worst remake/rip-off/sequel and worst supporting actor for John C Reilly.

The Sony film, which reunited Will Ferrell with his Step Brothers co-star Reilly, was reportedly so bad it prompted walk-outs when it was screened on Christmas day last year.

Holmes and Watson was the worst f***ing movie of all time,” one viewer wrote, adding: “First movie I’ve ever walked out on.”

Another added: “Holmes and Watson possibly the worse film I’ve seen. Walked out the cinema.”

One Twitter user branded the Etan Cohen film “the worst piece of trash movie I have ever seen in my entire life” with another urging members of the public to “run” away from the film.

Donald Trump picked up two awards, for worst actor and for worst screen combo for “Donald J Trump & His Self-Perpetuating Pettiness” during his appearances in Michael Moore's latest documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 and Dinesh D'Souza's documentary Death of a Nation.

Moore's film also won worst actress for Kellyanne Conway as herself.

Melissa McCarthy received the worst actress award for two films: The Happytime Murders and Life of the Party, while also taking home the redeemer award for her Oscar-nominated performance in Can You Ever Forgive Me?
