Yep, it's that time of the year where you start thinking about camping in muddy fields again, as Reading and Leeds Festival has confirmed its 2018 headliners, along with a host of other artists set to perform over the August bank holiday weekend.

Kings of Leon, Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! at the Disco will all be taking up the major spots on the line-up when the festival gets underway in August, marking the first wave of acts confirmed to be playing this year.

It marks the second time Kings of Leon have headlined the festival and the first time for Grammy winner Kendrick, who previously played the festival back in 2015 and will be appearing at the festival following his sold-out UK tour.

It's also the first time Fall Out Boy will play the headline slot, having proved themselves as firm favourites of the festival over the years.

"There are very few places that can illustrate the growth of our band from its beginning," the band said in a statement. "However, Reading and Leeds is one of them. It is an honour to be able to headline a festival that we grew up playing and dreaming of that top spot."

Rounding out the announced headliners is the Brendon Urie-fronted Panic! at the Disco, another regular artist on the Reading and Leeds festival bill.

Along with the headliners, Reading and Leeds Festival also confirmed another 50 names for this year's festival, including Dua Lipa in a UK festival exclusive, as well as Skepta, Wolf Alice, Diplo and more.

"Reading and Leeds prides itself on being a music-first festival and this year's line-up already proves that," Festival Republic's Melvin Benn commented.

"Kings of Leon and Fall Out Boy are bands that have grown with the festival and its fans and we couldn't be more pleased to invite them back to headline. Adding Panic! at the Disco and Kendrick Lamar, probably the most sought-after act in the world right now, we think Reading and Leeds Festivals 2018 are off to an amazing start – with even more to come, so watch this space."
