Real Madrid will look for their first win of the LaLiga campaign away at Real Betis on tonight.

Zinedine Zidane's side opened their season with an uneventful 0-0 draw at Real Sociedad last week, but they'll look to bounce back and kick start their title defence.

Los Blancos come up against a Betis side who sit second in the league after back-to-back wins against Almeria and Granada.

Having taken over as Betis boss in July, the former Madrid manager Manuel Pellegrini is leading a Betis side looking to make a major improvement on their15th place finish last season, just five points off relegation.

Date, time and venue

Real Betis vs Real Madrid is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off tonight.

This match will be played behind closed doors at Estadio Benito Villamarin with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

Team news

Eden Hazard is once again expected to be absent with Zidane likely be without a number of key players once more.

The Belgian has made progress in his return from an ankle injury, but it remains unlikely he'll be seen in the starting XI.

Likewise, Marco Asensio has stepped up his return from a knee injury but the match will most likely come too soon, while Mariano Diaz will definitely be out.

Karin Benzema is expected to lead the line once more, with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes behind, while Eder Militao, Isco and Lucas Vazquez could all be involved.

Martin Odegaard - who started against Sociedad - is available despite a coronavirus scare, but he may be replaced by Casemiro in midfield.

Prediction: Real Betis 0-1 Real Madrid

Though Beits have made a fast start to La Liga, Real Madrid were simply sensational in their run to the title last season.

After returning from the break due to coronavirus, Los Blancos won 10 straight games to claim the title in emphatic style.

And while they looked less than frightening in their season opener against Sociedad, I'm expecting an improved performance on Saturday.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

This will be the 40th meeting between these two sides, with Real Madrid unsurprisingly coming in with the superior record.

Madrid have won on 22 occasions, while Betis have come away with seven wins, alongside 10 draws.

The last time the two clubs met was back in March of last year, when Betis ran out 2-1 winners thanks to a late Cristian Tello Herrera winner.
