The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has confirmed that she has exited the show ahead of the next season.
The reality star, who was the subject of many memes and one of the most well-known stars on the show, revealed the news in an emotional video posted on her YouTube channel.
"I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation," NeNe explained. "There has been a lot of emotion flying from both sides. It has been hard.
"And I have made the very hard and difficult decision to not be a part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13. It wasn't an easy decision for me. It was hard."
Network Bravo has since confirmed that they and NeNe could not come to mutually agreeable terms.
"We wish NeNe all the best in her future endeavors and thank her for sharing her journey for over a decade with the fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta," they said in a statement to Variety.

"She's been instrumental since the start and will truly be missed, and maybe one day she'll hold the peach again."
NeNe was an original cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta when the reality series debuted in 2008, and has since gone on to appear in a number of other series, including The Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars.
