Real Madrid vs Plzen
Uefa Champions League 2018/19
Venue: Santiago Bernabeu
Date: Tuesday, 23 October
Kick-off time: 8pm BST

Julen Lopetegui could do with a morale-boosting win against Viktoria Plzen tonight with the Clasico looming.

Los Blancos have started the 2018-19 campaign in disjointed fashion, with the club feeling the effects of losing both Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo in the same summer.

Real should have few problems against Czech champions Plzen, but could do with a few goals - and a clean sheet - to build confidence before their October 28 trip to the Camp Nou to face Lionel Messi and Barcelona.

The Champions League holders also have work to do to stand a chance of retaining their trophy, with a defeat at CSKA Moscow in gameweek 2 leaving Group G in the balance.
