Real Madrid vs AS Roma
Uefa Champions League 2018/19
Venue: Bernabeu
Date: Wednesday, 19 September
Kick-off time: 8pm BST

How do you follow a coach like Zinedine Zidane? That is the question Julen Lopetegui must ask himself as the new Real Madrid coach attempts to add a fourth Champions League in a row to the Bernabeu trophy cabinet.

Zidane won the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Champions League tournaments before departing in the summer, and Lopetegui has been tasked with following in the Frenchman's footsteps - starting with a Group G clash against Roma.

Real lost their perfect La Liga record at the weekend at they fought from behind to secure a 1-1 draw at Athletic Bilbao, and Roma may fancy their chances of causing a shock on Spanish soil after reaching last season's semi-finals.
