Rebekah Vardy has broken her silence on Coleen Rooney entering ITV I'm A Celebrity in the wake of their legal row. Mrs Vardy accused Coleen of being "calculated" and having a gameplan as she enters the Ant and Dec show from 9pm on Sunday (November 17).

“She’s been in this industry for a long time," Becky told The Sun in an exclusive interview. "She knows what she’s doing, she knows how to play the game. I think she’ll go into the jungle with a game plan. She knows how the public will perceive her. I think the public see her as a victim — a hard-working woman that’s endured a lot through a man’s infidelities and all of the stuff that he’s put her through.”

She said: “Everyone thinks Jamie is mad at me for speaking out, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. He’s encouraging me, saying, ‘Give it to her, get the truth out there’. He loves it that she’s back getting headlines. The more stick he gets from the stands in football, the better he plays.”

The leading WAG, known for her marriage to Wayne Rooney, will be making a grand return to TV as she looks to put the Wagatha Christie scandal behind her. A source said: “I’m A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup.”

Coleen is to get the ultimate revenge on her Wagatha Christie rival Rebekah — by heading Down Under for I’m A Celebrity. The wife of ex-England striker Wayne has landed a record deal to enter the jungle, where Rebekah was booted out early in 2017.

“I’m A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup getting Coleen for the jungle this year and the team are thrilled to have her on board," an insider said. "She’s always been a massive fan of the show and loves watching it with her boys. ITV are over the moon that the stars have aligned this year and she can fit it in. The series is set to be one of the best yet.

“Coleen has a huge fanbase and she won massive plaudits for her classy handling of the Wagatha Christie case. She’s excited to show fans a different side to her and prove she can survive without her creature comforts.”
