The first convoy of rebel fighters from al-Waer, Homs, arrived in opposition-controlled areas in north Syria in the early hours of Sunday, March 19, according to opposition reports.
The final destination of the rebel convey was reported to be Jarablus city in northeast Syria.
The convoy left Homs on March 18 as part of a reported agreement between rebels and the Syrian government.
The agreement after a month of escalated shelling of the neighborhood by pro-regime forces, according to a UK-based war monitor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). It followed earlier evacuation deals between rebels and government forces that were not fully implemented. Credit: YouTube/Smart News via Storyful
