The actress said she'd "lost focus" amid her busy work schedule
Rebel Wilson is opening up about her weight.
On Monday, the actress, 43, shared an Instagram post, revealing that she has gained 30 lbs. amid her busy work schedule.
Alongside a snap and clip of herself wearing a black swimsuit and sunglasses in a hot tub aboard a boat, Wilson wrote, “Working really hard has meant that, coz of all the stress, I’ve gained 14kg’s (30 pounds)! It makes me feel bad about myself…it shouldn’t…but it does.”
She continued, “I’m really proud of the work I’ve been doing on new movies and my memoir, it’s just been a LOT and I’ve lost focus on my healthy lifestyle. Anyone else going through the same thing?”
Wilson’s 11.1 million followers were quick to relate to the star, with one writing, “You aint alone sis!❤️.” A second added, “100% 😖 yes.”
“You are great and you look even better. Don’t let the doubt in,” a third wrote.
In December, Wilson took to Instagram to reflect on her busy 2023 with carousel of images from a trip to Fiji with fiancée Ramona Agruma and their 1-year-old daughter, Royce Lillian.
“After a hectic year: working 7 days a week writing a book REBEL RISING, filming an action movie in Savannah and now directing THE DEB in Australia, I was definitely in need of some R&R&R time,” she wrote.

“Thanks to 2023 for showing me that even with a baby, even with tons of stress and pressure, I am ‘pretty strong.’ 😘 ,” Wilson concluded the post.
In another Instagram update, the Pitch Perfect star shared a snap of herself posing in a neon orange long-sleeve swimsuit on the beach.
“Find me in Fiji,” she captioned the vacation photo, which showed her holding a coconut in front of her unzipped swimsuit.
In 2022, Wilson opened up to PEOPLE about how her desire to become a mom initially sparked her weight loss.
She said that during a visit to her fertility doctor in 2019, she was told she'd have a much better chance of harvesting and freezing her eggs if she lost weight. "He looked me up and down and said, 'You'd do much better if you were healthier,' " the Australian star recalled.
"I was taken aback. I thought, 'Oh God, this guy's so rude.' He was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight. It's almost like I didn't think of my own needs. I thought of a future child's needs that really inspired me to get healthier," she continued.

Wilson then embarked on a "year of health" in 2020 and eventually lost over 80 lbs. "It wasn't a goal to get to a certain weight," she explained. "It was just being the healthiest version of myself."
Meanwhile, during an interview with the Daily Mail in June, Wilson admitted that she had gained weight since becoming a first-time mom to Royce, who was born via surrogate.
"I did gain weight once I had my baby, because although I didn’t give birth to her and I didn’t need to lose any baby weight, I had just gained weight from the lack of sleep and from the change in my lifestyle," she said. "For instance, now I can’t go to the gym as often as I used to. I’m just not working out as much, so that has slowed me down."
