Back in January, Rebel Wilson revealed to fans she was embarking on a “Year of Health” in which she was going to try and slim down to her target weight of 165lbs.

By August, the actress, 40, announced to her 8.7m followers on Instagram that she had shed 40lbs.

In a new post shared to the site, the star looked significantly trimmer as she posed for a snap with her younger sister Annachi on the set of an advert they were filming for Facebook’s Portal.

She could be seen in a sparkly green dress with wavy blonde hair, while her brunette sibling wore a blue top and jeans.

Captioning the image, Rebel wrote: “Wilson sisters crushing it on set! Can you guess who’s 11 years older?? Our second commercial together.”

The picture went down well with fans who left more than 163,000 ‘likes’, with many commenting on her shrinking appearance.

One person wrote: “You look stunning! Making Aussie women so proud and motivating me to lose weight.”

Another commented: “You’re looking awesome Rebel.”

A third shared: “Body goals.”

And a fourth added: ”Oh send me your old clothes!”

Rebel also has another younger sister, Liberty, as well a brother called Ryot.

The star has been documenting her weight loss journey on Instagram, revealing that she has been achieving it safely and sustainably through eating healthily and exercising.

This has included high-intensity workouts with her Australian personal trainer Jono Castano Acero.

In a recent post - which saw her don a navy dress - Rebel updated fans on her progress.

She wrote: “Thanks for all the love so far on my ‘Year of Health’ journey - when I was reaching for the candies last night after dinner I thought to myself ‘hmmmm...better not’ and had a bottle of water instead.

“8kgs to go until I hit my goal - hopefully I can do it by the end of the year.”
