'Reckless' driver reported to courts after police stop in St Austell

A reckless driver was sent home on foot after being stopped by police and their car was seized.

The Fiat driver was spotted travelling at excess speed in the St Austell area last night (Saturday November 30). Devon and Cornwall Police said the driver was stopped by officers and their vehicle was seized.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) the police said: "This Fiat was driving at excess speed and recklessly. It was stopped. The driver was found to be uninsured. Vehicle was seized and the driver was reported."
