Reckless Edinburgh motorbike riders pull stunts and weave through traffic
A shocked motorist captured the moment a gang of youths carried out dangerous stunts on a busy stretch of road in Edinburgh.
The footage was captured on Saturday September 28 on Roseburn Terrace, Wester Coates at 5.55pm and shows six riders, with four off road bikes and a quad spotted travelling at speed on the road and adjacent cycle path.
A wheelie is performed close to pedestrians who are making their way along the public walkway.

The clip also shows a rider doing a wheelie on the main road, as another youth swerves off the pavement in front cars and a bus.
Speaking on the understanding they are kept anonymous, the driver who captured the footage said: “It was unusual - it felt like we were in a movie.

“I noticed a biker on my left mirror coming up fast, riding on the pavement or on the cycle lane; soon enough I found myself flanked and overtaken by several motorbikes and a quad.
“They were mostly riding and driving on the nearby cycle lane, and running across the pavement onto the main road, some of them wheeling and revving, seemingly none of them wearing helmets.”

Police Scotland were approached for comment.
