Dame Sarah Storey has won the cycling women’s road race C4-C5 at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo to claim a record 17th gold medal. Dame Sarah described the achievement as an “out-of-body experience”. She says she wants to compete at the Games in Paris in 2024 and share the experience with her two children Louisa and Charlie. If the 43-year-old makes it to Paris, it would be her ninth Paralympics, having first competed in the 1992 Games in Barcelona.
