Recovering Koala Learns to Walk Again

Ten days after a chiropractic and acupuncture session that left Heather the koala grumpy and sore, the elderly marsupial looked like a new animal, up and walking with seemingly no pain.

Heather came into the shelter’s care in March and was unable to walk, hence the unusual medical procedures.

She seems to be able to move pretty quickly to get to her food – a good sign, indeed. Credit: Port Stephens Koalas via Storyful
