Red carpet! This station's beauty will blow your mind

The pictures of a railway station in Kerala have gone viral on social media platforms for their pristine beauty. Tweeted by Parveen Kaswan, an Indian Forest Services personnel, the photos show the entire station is swathed in a gorgeous carpet of crimson Gulmohar.

This is the scenic Mellatur railway station, which seems to be untouched by commotion and pollution. The photos were taken in May, during the lockdown, and were published first in a few local newspapers.

The natural beauty and the picture-postcard setting have enraptured netizens as there aren’t too many Indian railway stations that score points for beauty.
