Members of the Hellenic Red Cross were among the first responders at the scene early on March 1 after two trains collided near Tempi, Greece, killing at least 36 people and leaving dozens more injured, several seriously.

The Greek Fire Brigade said on Wednesday that at least 36 people were killed, and 66 were injured, six of whom were in intensive care.

There were 342 passengers and 10 staff on the passenger train, according to data from Hellenic Train, the brigade said, while the freight train was carrying two staff.
