Ed Balls recreated his most iconic moment from his time on Strictly Come Dancing for Comic Relief.

The former Shadow Chancellor danced to Gangnam Style in an show-opening routine based on La La Land.

The Oscar-winning film’s first number Another Day of Sun became Another Red Nose Day of Fun with the help of loads of comedians.

The segment began with Lenny Henry dancing alongside Warwick Davis and Greg Davies, followed by cameos from I’m A Celeb’s Joel Dommett and Joe Lycett.

Miranda star Sally Phillips popped up in a car with Fiona Allen, while Miranda Hart herself starred in the short.

There were also appearances from Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, and Romesh Ranganathan.

Midway through the La La Land song, Ed Balls and his dance partner Chloe Hewitt turned up in bright blue costumes to dance to Psy’s 2012 hit.

Elsewhere in the BBC’s live charity special, Love Actually fans will get to find out where their favourite characters ended up 13 years later in Red Nose Day Actually.

The short brings back most of the original cast, and has been written by Richard Curtis.

James Corden also took on a special Carpool Karaoke with Take That.
