Ree Drummond Points Out Her Son Bryce's Striking Resemblance to Woody Harrelson
“Everyone please wish my son Woody Harrelson a happy birthday!” the Pioneer Woman quipped
Is that Woody Harrelson with Ree Drummond?
Fans of the Food Network star did a double take on the photo she shared on her Instagram Sunday of her and her son Bryce, in celebration of his birthday.
“Everyone please wish my son Woody Harrelson a happy birthday! Loved seeing you today, son!! ❤️” she wrote in the caption in celebration of her oldest son, who is a student at Oklahoma State University.
In the photo, mom and son have their arms around each other. Bryce, who plays football for OSU, wears a T-shirt sporting the team’s logo, and is smiling. A deep dimple in his right cheek is visible and looks similar to the one the Cheers star has. Bryce and Harrelson both have a similar square-jawed face, bright blue eyes and blond hair.
Commenters to the Pioneer Woman's post took note of the resemblance as well. The photo even inspired country superstar Miranda Lambert to stop and “like” the post. The country music band Little Big Town and celebrity chef Cat Cora also offered her son wishes, writing, “Happy Birthday!”
“Could be Woody’s twin…,” one commenter wrote. “Still got the dimples.”
“😂 Happy birthday Woodys doppelgänger!! 🎉” another fan said.
“Woody! You’ve never looked so good! Happy Birthday 🎂” commented another.
“Happy Birthday Woody! Wait a minute, that’s Bryce Drummond.Happy Birthday Bryce.🥳”
“Happy Birthday Woody. Love your movies 🤣🤣,” joked another.

“A much better looking version, but that is hilarious! Happy birthday!! 🎂,” added another fan.
“Hahaaa! He’s so dang cute! Genetic jackpot,” wrote @junkgypsy, the big vintage clothing shop in Round Top, Texas.
Bob and Cortney Novogratz, the design duo, got in on the action too and wrote from their IG handle @thenovogrotz:: “Indeed!! Go Woody.”
However, one commenter thought he looked more like brat pack actor and Sixteen Candles star Anthony Michael Hall, “ when he was a young adult.”
“Yes!!!!! 100%,” chimed in another commenter. “Omg he does!!” said another.
Bryce commented himself, taking in all of the good wishes, and posted an emoji blowing a kiss.
Bryce originally enrolled at the University of North Texas last January, but transferred to Oklahoma State University, a college much closer to his family's home in Pawhuska. Two weekends ago Ree and her husband, Ladd, visited Bryce again to watch him play football in a game against Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. They later had a big dinner with friends and family.
The star chef has said that Bryce brings a lot of humor to her and her husband, Ladd, and his brothers and sisters, Alex, Paige, Jamar and Todd.
She wrote about his comedic side in 2022. "Do you have that one kid in your family that just cracks you up, no matter what they do? Bryce is that kid for me. It could just be an expression he makes, or a phrase he utters, or a gesture or a question or a look...but something about Bryce just makes me laugh."
