The 40-year-old actress admitted her four-year-old boy Tennessee is the most temperamental first thing and needs “an hour of alone time” during which she is “not allowed” to talk to him.

“You’re not allowed to talk to [Tennessee] before 8am. You can’t sit close to him either, he gets really mad.

“He needs like, an hour of alone time. He drags his toys and blankets into the room and sits there by himself,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

Reese is married to Tennessee’s father Jim Toth and also has Ava, 17, and Deacon, 13, from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe. Early mornings are the family’s busiest time of the day, and she won’t answer personal calls before 8:15am.

In good company at the #SingMovie premiere last night ❤️???? P.S. It’s a wonderful family film for the holidays!

She said: “People know not to call me before 8:15, because 8:15 is when everybody needs to either be on the bus or at school and then my whole life starts at 8:15.”

The blonde beauty admits she has “rules” that her children have to follow, but she still finds herself constantly telling them to “clean up”.

“We have rules around the house. I always say if you aren’t yelling at your kids you’re not spending enough time with them.

“[I’m] just telling everyone to clean up all the time.”
