Reese Witherspoon Shares Inside Glimpse of Her ‘Girls' Night at the Emmys’ with Jennifer Aniston, Laura Dern
The 'Legally Blonde' actress shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from the Sunday, Sept. 15 ceremony
Reese Witherspoon was surrounded by her gal pals at the 2024 Emmy Awards!
On Monday, Sept. 16, Witherspoon, 48, shared an Instagram carousel of herself hanging out with The Morning Show costar Jennifer Aniston, 55, and the show's director and executive producer Mimi Leder, 72, at the event.
The first shot showed the trio posing at dinner before Witherspoon cozied up to her longtime friend and Big Little Lies costar Laura Dern, 57, for a mirror selfie. A further snap showed Aniston posing with Dern inside the ceremony, which was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Witherspoon captured another selfie of herself and Dern in a car, as well as sharing a clip of them walking down a hallway and another full-length shot focusing on her stunning strapless black Dior dress, which featured delicate floral detailing on the bodice and a tulle skirt.
The actress, who was nominated alongside Aniston for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for their work on The Morning Show, wore her hair in a chic up 'do and added some smokey eye makeup and a gold clutch.
"Girls’ night at the Emmy’s 💫💞," Witherspoon captioned the post.

She'd previously shared some snaps of her glam look on Instagram, writing in the caption, "Emmys night!! So excited to celebrate @themorningshow season 3 and all of the amazing people who made it happen. 💛"

Despite Witherspoon and Aniston losing out to Shōgun's Anna Sawai in their Emmys category, their costar Billy Crudup won the outstanding supporting actor in a drama series award.
Witherspoon stars as news anchor Bradley Jackson in the show — which takes an inside look at the fictional news network UBA — while Aniston plays her co-anchor Alex Lexy and Crudup stars as network president Cory Ellison.

Crudup was joined in the category by his costars Jon Hamm and Mark Duplass, who play Paul Marks and Chip Black, respectively. The Apple TV+ series earned a whopping 16 nominations overall, including outstanding drama series and outstanding supporting actress in a drama series nods for Greta Lee, Holland Taylor, Nicole Beharie and Karen Pittman.
Ahead of The Morning Show's season 3 premiere in Sept. 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that the show would be returning for a fourth season — although a premiere date for The Morning Show season 4 is yet to be announced.
