Regina police looking for witnesses after pedestrian struck in hit and run
Police in Regina are asking for the public's help in finding a driver involved in a hit and run that sent a pedestrian to hospital on Friday afternoon.
Police received a report that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at Victoria Avenue and Atkinson Street at around 4:20 p.m on Friday, the Regina Police Service said in a news release.
Emergency medial services took the man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the victim was struck by a dark sedan, which then fled eastbound on Victoria Avenue.
The police service is now asking any witnesses, or anyone with security camera footage or dashboard camera footage, to contact investigators at at 306-777-6500, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
