Liam Payne has opened up about girlfriend Cheryl’s “insane” labour during son Bear’s birth, admitting he can “remember every minute of it.”

The Bedroom Floor singer, who recently celebrated his son's first birthday, told how the birth was a memorable experience.

Speaking to PopBuzz, he explained: “Seeing the birth of your child is the most proud moment you can ever have.

“It's also the craziest and like mixed emotions you'll ever feel. It was insane but you can just remember every minute of it.

“There's a lot of things that are kind of blurry but that one's like straight in there.

“And then you can just remember being in the waiting room afterwards just holding him, feeding him a little milk after he's just been born.”

The 24-year-old father also revealed that he and Cheryl have been told by other people that Bear’s growth is rapid, describing him as “massive.”

The couple first started dating in 2015 and have repeatedly shut down speculation that they have split.

The news comes after the star revealed that his son Bear has already mastered the art of twerking and gets emotional when he sings at home with pop star girlfriend Cheryl.

The famous tot seems to have inherited his parents’ love of music, according to 24-year-old Liam.

“We both sing to him all the time. We play him music and he loves it,” Liam said.

He added that when playing his new single, Familiar, Bear “went rigid and almost [started] twerking on the table, like a baby twerk.”
