Remembrance Sunday events and parades across Yorkshire including Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds and York
This Sunday hundreds of thousands of Britons will stop to remember military personnel who gave their lives for their country.
Cities, towns and villages will host memorial marches and dedications to those who fell in conflicts involving Britain and the Commonwealth from the First World War onwards. The service and its associated events will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian (for example, air raid wardens and merchant seamen) men and women who gave their lives so future generations could be free.
The events are an opportunity to remember people who died in more recent conflicts and acknowledge people fighting in present day conflicts across the world.
