Renters have been left 'outraged' over a property where the bed sits just 'inches' away from the shower. The three-bed Georgian townhouse in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, has been listed for rent on Rightmove - and it costs a steep £3,640 per month.

It has since attracted attention online by confused tenants, who spotted a shower and sink in of the bedrooms which sits very close to the bed - with no door separating them.

But despite its strange layout, the house does appear to have some perks. Not only does it require no deposit, no contract and all bills included, it has the benefit of coming fully furnished with linens and towels included - as well as the added luxury of a 'fortnightly clean and linen change'.

Hudson Property Shropshire, who are marketing the home, say in the listing: "Centrally located, this spacious 3-bedroom Georgian townhouse is set over four floors and is situated opposite Shrewsbury Abbey. It is just a two-minute walk away from English Bridge, which leads into Shrewsbury's historic town.

"The townhouse offers character and charm across all four floors. The entrance is via the street into the ground floor area. There's a sitting area to the front and a living area with a Smart TV to the rear, opening to a further living space that gives access to the rear garden; both rooms have feature fires. The basement, with exposed beams, has a spacious and fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, along with a separate dining room with seating for six."

The listing continues: "On the first floor, there is a double bedroom, a family shower room, and a separate W/C. On the second floor, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed, its own shower, and sink, while the third bedroom has two single beds. The rear garden has a patio area with outdoor furniture, providing a perfect space to relax and take in the surroundings."

The listing for the rental property was shared on Reddit by user @BuckNastysMomma who said: "£3,640 a month and you could shower inches away from where you sleep too (picture 6…)."

Other users were then left confused as they reacted to the post, with @Shep_vas_Normandy commenting: "Who the hell thought this was a good idea when there are 2 toilets and a bath one floor below?."

@MissKellieUk then asked: "Is the shower in the bedroom all the bathroom you get?," as @BuckNastysMomma responded: "There is another on the floor below, which begs the question, why put one next to the bed?."

Others were taken aback by the price, with @SoaDark00 stating: "Insane pricing," as @El-Gato-sama asked: "How does this cost 3.6k?." @markcorrigans_boiler echoed: "I looked at the price and thought it looked like a good deal, until I saw it wasn't in London, but Shropshire."

@juanito_f90 then added: "Wait, what? That living room looks tiny. No chance of fitting on the sofa without smashing your shins on the coffee table."
