The Repair Shop star Julyan Wallis confirms departure as series ends 'always a privilege'
Julyan Wallis, an expert on The Repair Shop, has confirmed he will be taking a break from the series after wrapping up filming for the BBC show. The guitar specialist took to social media to pay tribute to his colleagues, confirming that filming was nearing its end.
He shared a photo of the experts outside the iconic barn, with the caption: "These people. Series 10 draws to an end. Although a few days yet to go for some of us. Always a privilege and a joy although no one will miss the long days over the last 6 months! #stillpinchingmyself @therepairshoptv."
Julyan's co-stars and fans rushed to the comments section to wish him well. "Time you had a holiday," one said while another added: "Always a pleasure Jules, hope to see you again soon! Xx."
A third chimed in: "Always fun to see the folks behind the scenes get credit." Another person commented: "Enjoy your holidays," reports the Express.

Julyan's announcement comes after his co-star and fellow expert Richard Talman confirmed his departure after filming for series 10 concluded.
Richard delivered an emotional farewell to his fellow cast members on Instagram, accompanied by a sneak peek video from behind the scenes featuring the production team.
Richard also expressed gratitude, highlighting the end of the current season's journey.
In a touching tribute, he shared: "Well, that's the end of filming series 10 for me! What a wonderful season with some fantastic people I have the pleasure to call workmates. You all know the experts, so wanted to feature the incredible production team that makes the series possible."
He concluded his message on an appreciative note, saying: "@therepairshop Thank you for having me. It's a wrap, as they say!"
Outside of their work on the BBC programme, Richard is busy with his jewellery business and Julyan pursues his passion for guitar repair.
Julyan's fascination with guitars sparked at the tender age of 12, and his curiosity led him not just to play them but to dismantle them too. Discussing his early interest with the BBC, he said: "I used to take it apart pretty much as soon as I started, I wanted to know what made them tick. My friends used to get me to re-string their guitars."
Initially, Julyan gave guitar lessons in his workshop and then in primary schools, but eventually stepped back to hone his restoration prowess.
Although he's a familiar face on the BBC, the celeb prefers to keep his personal life under wraps. However, it's known that he resides in Cornwall with his wife Bonnie.
The Repair Shop is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
