RePix for Mac lets you resize an image or batch of images quickly and easily without having to open up a larger image editing app. If all you need to do is resize images, particularly if you do this often, this app offers exactly what you're looking for.
Pros
Straightforward process: Resizing images through this app is as straightforward as it gets. Simply choose the output size you want and the image or images you need resized, and you're done. And because it isn't weighted down with a bunch of other features, the software opens and runs quite quickly.
Customizable templates: When you first install the app, you'll see several preset options for resizing images. You can use one of these, or you can create your own and save them, which is especially useful if you frequently have to resize images to the same specifications.
Cons
No Help: There is no Help feature available for this software. That fact, coupled with the extreme utilitarian nature of the interface, could make it hard for inexperienced users to find their way around the app and get the most out of it.
Bottom Line
RePix for Mac serves a very specific need and does it very well. It would be nice if there was a Quick Start Guide to help less-experienced users get a feel for the program, but overall the app is straightforward enough to set up and use.
