Suns star Devin Booker and former Suns guard Tyler Ulis were allegedly involved in a fight in a Tempe, Arizona, elevator in 2017, according to a TMZ Sports report on Friday afternoon.
According to the report and footage obtained by TMZ, Ulis was holding the elevator open for someone when “another group of guys tried to get on.”
Words were quickly exchanged before the fight broke out, and Ulis can be seen grabbed into a headlock as the brawl spilled into the hallway.
Soon after, Booker and two others took the elevator up to find the men Ulis was fighting with and another scuffle broke out. Ulis can be seen throwing a few punches, though it’s unclear based on the footage if he landed any.
Footage then cuts to the building lobby, where Booker and two others can be seen chasing the two men who were in the initial fight in the elevator with Ulis out to the street.
According to TMZ, police were called to the building but no arrests were made.

“While these guys know they are always potential targets for others trying to cause trouble, it’s hard to blame them for defending their friend who is on the bad end of a 4-on-1 attack,” a spokesperson for Booker said in a statement.
The Suns are reportedly looking into the incident.
Booker averaged 24.9 points, 4.7 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Suns last season, and just signed a five-year maximum deal with the Suns worth a projected $158 million. The Suns waived Ulis in June after two seasons.
