Rescue Boats Carry Residents to Safety Along Flooded River Wye

Over 130 flood warnings were in place across the UK on February 19 as rescue teams continued to respond to the effects of Storm Dennis.

The Met Office had three yellow rain warnings in place on February 19, advising that rain was likely to be heavy and could lead to further flooding.

Residents were evacuated on February 18 in the town of Ironbridge as the River Severn threatened to breach flood barriers.
