Rescued Sea Turtle Returns to Ocean After Months of Care at Florida Rehab Center

A male loggerhead sea turtle named Connor was released back into the Gulf of Mexico on January 12 following months of recovery at Sarasota’s Mote Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital.

According to a press release, Connor had been in the hospital’s care since September after suffering from lethargy and multiple areas of skin erosion.
