Rescuers Use Drill to Free Cat Trapped Between Two Factory Walls

Australian wildlife carer Nigel Williamson successfully rescued a cat stuck between two factory walls in Victoria on Sunday, December 9.

Using a drill, Williamson worked for two hours to free the animal, after it was discovered trapped in the tiny spot about six hours earlier.

Williamson was called in to help after State Emergency Service volunteers initially failed to pull the cat free, he said in a post on Facebook.

Williamson later wrote that the cat was recovering from its ordeal after being transported to a local vet. Credit: Nigel’s Animal Rescue and Pest Control via Storyful
