Rescuers work in rubble of building that collapsed in Amman, Jordan

Firefighters work in the rubble of the four-storey residential building that collapsed in Amman, Jordan’s capital, on Tuesday afternoon (September 13). At least five people were killed and 14 others were wounded. Footage filmed on September 14 shows rescuers carrying the body of a victim on a stretcher. Hundreds of civil defense personnel continue their rescue operations. At least 10 people are still trapped under the rubble. According to a government spokesperson, some are believed to be still alive. The reason for the incident remains unclear.
