Search operations continued on June 28 at a destroyed shopping mall in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk after it was hit by a Russian missile the day before, killing at least 18 people and injuring dozens more.
President Volodymyr Zelensky released a statement condemning the strike, saying there were “more than a thousand civilians” at the mall when it happened.
The strike came after Zelensky addressed a G7 summit on Monday.
The G7 leaders condemned the attack, calling it “abominable”.
