Residents Assess Damage Caused by Powerful Storms in North Carolina

The National Weather Service issued multiple tornado warnings as a line of thunderstorms moved through North Carolina on March 18.

Scott Steed and his wife assessed damage in their neighborhood in Whitsett, southwest of Burlington, on Thursday afternoon. Homes were missing shingles, windows were broken, and debris can be seen scattered around the housing development.
