Residents Displaced After Tornado Tears Through Florida Mobile Home Park

A tornado tore through a trailer park in Placida, Florida, on January 16, damaging 39 mobile homes.

The tornado had peak winds of 110 mph, according to the National Weather Service, and struck the area at around 6:20 am. No injuries were reported.

FOX 13 said up to 70 residents were displaced as a result of the tornado. American Red Cross volunteers worked to help those impacted with supplies and shelter.
