Residents Told to Evacuate as Fire Engulfs Chemical Plant in Omaha

A three-alarm fire at a chemical plant in Omaha prompted authorities to urge nearby residents to evacuate on Monday, May 30.

The Omaha Fire Department released footage showing dark plumes of smoke wafting from the Nox-Crete plant in downtown Omaha.

The department recommended residents near the blaze evacuate due to smoke from the fire.
