Residents Warned as Flooding Hits Milton, West Virginia

City officials in Milton, West Virginia, were warning locals on March 1 to exercise caution, and evacuate if necessary, as flooding worsened. Several rescues were undertaken on East Mud River Road, local media said.

WSAZ reported that several residents became trapped in their homes as water levels rose.
