'Give it a rest' - Ryan Gravenberch sent Liverpool message after Alexander-Arnold reaction
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch continued his fine start to the season with a player of the match performance in the 2-1 win over Wolves. The Dutchman's Reds teammates flooded in supportive messages after another fine display as Arne Slot's side moved top of the Premier League.
Ibrahima Konate and Mohamed Salah were on target to continue the winning run as Liverpool weathered a mini-scare when the French defender was involved in a mix-up which handed Gary O'Neil's side a lifeline.
Although Rayan Ait-Nouri restored parity, it was only for a matter of minutes as Nelson Semedo hauled down Diogo Jota in the penalty area. The Egyptian stepped up and sent Sam Johnstone the wrong way.

Curtis Jones and Konate were quick to laud the midfielder after his standout showing. The Englishman commented: "Some player," while the goalscorer added: "We go again."
Luis Diaz was also among the players to show his support with three clapping emojis with former Liverpool youngster Bobby Clark showing his support.
Also on social media, full-back duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson had differing comments for Gravenberch. The England defender posted to his story a picture of the former Ajax and Bayern Munich midfielder looking at his award with the caption: "Man of the moment."
Robertson wasn't so complimentary, he said: "Give it a rest, [sleeping emoji]." In their joint post-match interview, Gravenberch and Konate shared a joke as the goalscorer was left bemused to not be given the accolade for his goal and role defensively.
"Sky Sports, Sky Sports, who decided this man of the match? How is this possible?," Konate said as Gravenberch struggled to contain his laughter. "I score, today I score, I saved one or two goals and I still don't deserve this? What happened?"
