New restaurant in Cambridgeshire town promises 'quality food and service'
A new Indian restaurant has opened in St Neots and will be serving up authentic dishes in a 'cosy' atmosphere. The restaurant's owner has been working in the hospitality industry for 21 years.
Mannat Indian Restaurant opened its doors for the first time on Thursday, November 14, and offered new customers 10 percent off their meal on the day in celebration. Mukhlesur Rahman, 48, the owner of the restaurant, runs Radhuni in Bedford but now wants to expand his business and believed St Neots residents would appreciate his restaurant's "quality food and service".
Mr Rahman has been working his way up in the hospitality industry for many years. He said: "21 years ago, I started working as a waiter in a restaurant. When I started my career, I had a dream to one day have my own place. I love this profession and serving customers."

When asked how his restaurant is different from others in the area, Mr Rahman said: "We will serve quality food and maintain quality service. The food is more authentic and it will be consistent. I want to create a cosy environment. I want people to feel as if they are being served by people they already know. It will be homely."
The restaurant's menu will contain many classic Indian dishes as well as some chef specials. Mr Rahman has created a "young and diverse" team to help run the restaurant who he believes will deliver consistently high quality service and ensure that customers are well looked after.
In the future, Mr Rahman would like to further grow his business. Mr Rahman said: "The main thing is I've always loved serving customers and it makes me feel good. That's why I want to expand my business."
Mannat Indian Restaurant can be found on Longsands Parade in St Neots.
