A hotel collapse in China’s Shanxi Province on Saturday, August 28, left 29 people dead and dozens more injured, state media reported.
China’s government-run Xinhua news agency said the building collapse occurred in Xiangfen County during an 80-year-old’s birthday banquet.
Some 57 people were pulled from the debris by early the next morning, with 29 reported dead. An investigation had been launched into the cause of the collapse, reports said. Credit: Shanxi Fire via Storyful
