A retiring police chief in Bullhead City, Arizona, had an emotional moment on Wednesday, August 26, as his daughter took over for the dispatcher during his final sign-off after nearly 22 years with the department.
Footage released by the Bullhead City Police Department shows Police Chief Brian Williamson calling in his final sign-off for his last shift before retirement.
The clip shows a Bullhead City Police Department dispatcher thank Williamson for his service before he is joined on the call by his daughter, who says it is her “honor” to handle his final call.
Williamson has been an employee of the Bullhead City Police Department since 1998, having previously served with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and United States Army, reports said. Credit: Bullhead City Police Department via Storyful
