Return to Paradise - full cast, episodes, plot and filming locations for BBC series
The BBC will air its new Death in Paradise spin-off series this week, following a Metropolitan Police officer who is forced to return to her home country of Australia. Return to Paradise is the new spin-off series of the hugely popular murder mystery Death in Paradise.
The series, which airs on Friday, November 22, will see former London copper Mackenzie Clarke back in the last place she wants to be – her hometown of Dolphin Cove - after she's accused of tampering with evidence. Mackenzie fled Australia under scandalous circumstances six years ago, leaving her ex-fiancé Glenn stranded at the altar.
Her return is anything but welcomed, but with no other job prospects, she takes a position with the team at Dolphin Cove Police Station. The series has been described as an 'Aussie twist on Death in Paradise' with a 'distinctively Australian flare', but also pays homage to the Death in Paradise universe.
