RGU men’s football team embark on madcap Movember challenges in £10k fundraising effort
Robert Gordon University men’s football team has come up with madcap Movember ideas that could see some of their players end up with less hair or permanent moustaches as they bid to net their £10,000 goal.
Members from their first, second and third teams have all got together to try and hit their five figure fund to raise money for Movember and men’s mental health.
RGU mens football captain Eddy Priestman is leading the fundraiser for a cause that is close to his heart.

Writing on his Instagram page, he said: "Mental health is a cause that is close to my heart, having lost family in the past.
"As Health and Wellbeing officer of RGU football, I've set up this team to help raise awareness and money for this amazing cause. Remember don't man up, speak up!"
The team are almost halfway to their fundraising total, sitting at just over £4,700.
Players from the team are to do individual and collective forfeits for every milestone up to their set figure.
If they hit £10,000 then some of the team will need to get a permanent tattoo of a moustache somewhere on their body.
For £9,000 a player has to book the cheapest flight out of Aberdeen airport and vlog his journey, for £8,000 players have to stage a fake marriage proposal at a peak time in the Union Square shopping centre.
For £7,000 a player has to get a bus to London and back without a stopover. The next target of £5,000 means members of the team will need to take it in turns to run for an entire 24 hours.
Some of the players have already done their forfeits, including dying their hair blond, wearing a tutu to training, getting acrylic nails, nose or belly button piercing and a 24 hour sit-in McDonalds, with every Big Mac eaten taking one hour off their stint.
Other players have also got Ronaldo R9 haircuts, where they have just left rectangular squares on their head.
Donations can be made here, and a full range of the forfeits and some of the videos for the previous forfeits can be seen on the team's Instagram page.
