"The trip got, I mean, literally [canceled], like, the day before they were leaving to go," Andy Cohen said
Vacation plans for the ladies of The Real Housewives of New Jersey didn't go exactly as planned earlier this year.
While appearing on his SiriusXM radio show, Radio Andy, earlier this week, Andy Cohen revealed to guest Danny Pellegrino that the RHONJ cast was supposed to travel to the Berkshires in Massachusetts, but a fire ruined their plans.
The conversation began when Pellegrino asked Cohen, 55, when Bravo fans would once again get to see Blue Stone Manor — the Berkshires home owned by The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley, which was previously used for filming on RHONY and season 2 of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
"They were gonna film at Dorinda's house," Cohen said, referring to the RHONJ cast. "I'm just saying this, and the place that they were staying burned down, so the trip got, I mean, literally [canceled], like, the day before they were leaving to go."
The father of two further explained that Bravo didn’t want the RHONJ ladies staying at Blue Stone Manor, detailing, "That’s just a different show, basically."

During their conversation, Pellegrino also brought up a rumor that circulated online that the RHONJ cast trip was canceled because the upcoming season 14 is “boring."
“No, it was canceled because the house burned down. The house literally burned down,” Cohen explained.
When asked by Pellegrino — who was promoting his book, The Jolliest Bunch: Unhinged Holiday Stories, A Collection of Tragically Hilarious Holiday Mishaps — if that rumor annoyed Cohen, the Watch What Happens Live host said, "I didn’t see that."
"But listen, there’s no end to annoying things. There’s no end to annoying lies and mistruths or half-truths or just made-up s--- that’s out there," he continued. "But I just keep walking one foot ahead. Keep on keeping on.”
The next season of RHONJ is expected to premiere sometime in early 2024 on Bravo.
