Their love story began in 1995, leading them to tie the knot seven years later in 2002.

Richard affectionately shared memories of their initial meeting in his autobiography, On The Edge: My Story, writing: "In an instant, I fell in love with her and realised I had met my soul-mate and best friend for life."

After a harrowing accident on a Top Gear shoot at an RAF base in York, Richard Hammond found himself fighting for survival, ending up in a two-week-long coma.

Hammond made a significant recovery from the accident that caused him short-term memory loss but has since chosen to steer clear of risky stunts for the sake of his family's wellbeing.

Bollitree Castle, the residence of the Hammond family, is not only steeped in history but also features luxurious country living and holds an estimated value of circa £2 million. Richard, alongside his wife Mindy, acquired this property in 2008 and have since turned it into a splendid family dwelling.
