You'll get decent odds on him down the bookies, but it doesn't sound like ex-Game of Thrones star Richard Madden is putting himself forward to replace Peter Capaldi in Doctor Who.
Tabloid rumours have the Cinderella actor in line to be the next Doctor, but he shot the speculation down when speaking to Digital Spy.
"I'm not making any comments on that!" said Madden. "I mean, it's a show that I've absolutely loved since I was a kid and I will continue to love watching."
To be honest, there have been so many people linked to taking over Doctor Who at this point, it's probably a good thing that actors are starting to rule themselves out.
Madden can currently be seen in Amazon's new science-fiction pilot Oasis, and while he might not be the next Doctor, he's definitely a fan of the genre.
"I love sci-fi," he enthused. "It's always been a big thing for me and I read a lot of sci-fi fiction."
Doctor Who will return to BBC One this Saturday at 7.20pm, kicking off one last series of adventures for Capaldi's Doctor and introducing new companion Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie).
Series 10 will see the Doctor, Bill and Nardole (Matt Lucas) pitted against the Ice Warriors, the Mondasian Cybermen and two different versions of The Master, with John Simm returning to team up with Missy (Michelle Gomez).
Richard Madden stars in Oasis, available to stream now exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
